Career Objective
We strive to preserve the independent practice of medicine by physicians and empower healthcare organizations.
Asa C Lockhart, MD, MBA
Our consulting firm has given me great pleasure and satisfaction as we have helped anesthesia groups and hospitals realize their potential. With an MD and an MBA, I have a unique clinical and business perspective of healthcare issues. Although GCCs is not affiliated with the medical societies, I am active in the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists, Texas Medical Association, American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Medical Association. I am the founder and course director for the ASA Certificate in Business Administration Course—created by the ASA Committee on Practice Management—that teaches basic business skills. It has been my privilege to speak at multiple state and national meetings.
