Financial Analysis and Benchmarking
Golden Caduceus Consultants shall evaluate and make recommendations to optimize the availability of
the mission critical anesthesia services. Through survey instruments, interviews,
and financial data supplied by the stakeholders, GCC shall evaluate and make stabilization recommendations in the following
manner:
- Survey the anesthesia group members and present
the survey results and initial financial benchmarking data during the on-site consultation (this is assuming that the surveys
are submitted to GCC in a timely manner);
- Confirm the appropriate anesthesia staffing
for the hospital utilizing GCC’s Staffing Grid;
- Evaluate the current and proposed anesthesia
coverage provided to the hospital and present a fair-market value determination that will provide the basis for a legal opinion
for the anesthesia services as compared to MGMA and AAA data;
- Send an initial Insert Report with data relevant
to the benchmarking for validation by the group;
- Review the Financial Analysis Report for
correctness with the group prior to its formalization;
- Deliver two copies of the Financial Analysis
Report to the group. Golden Caduceus Consultants will deliver the Financial Analysis
Reports in a timely manner based on the completeness and timelessness of data received.
The primary factors that would delay this project are receiving the RFI late
in the process with data that is incorrect, incomplete, or in need of normalization.
Once the report is delivered, all revisions and teleconferences beyond the first review will be billed at the hourly
rate.
