When Asa and I created GCC, it was reflective of our partnership in life. We
have both been active in the politics and the evolution of medicine for the last thirty years. I was an elementary school teacher, a wife and mother, a community volunteer, and owner of a small billing
company that I closed in 1993 when 15 entities merged to form East Texas Anesthesiology Associates, which has grown to 40
members/associates. I completed the ASA Certificate in Business Administration
Course. Inspired by Asa’s MBA, we embarked on a consulting career that
has been very rewarding and successful. Meeting and working with healthcare professionals
nationwide continues to enrich our lives as we make new friends across our great nation.
